™
Stories by Her™ is a six-week online creative writing enrichment program for Muslim girls ages 13–17.
Students participate in twelve live, one-hour classes across six weeks, with two classes each week.
Class Schedule
Sundays and Wednesdays: 10–11 a.m. U.S. Central (CT) / 11 a.m.–12 p.m. U.S. Eastern (ET) / normally 4–5 p.m. UK / 4–5 p.m. or 5–6 p.m. Morocco / 6–7 p.m. or 7–8 p.m. Saudi Arabia (KSA), depending on the date.
Founding Cohort Dates
- November 8–December 16, 2026
- January 3–February 10, 2027
- March 7–April 14, 2027
U.S. Central (CT) is the official class schedule. The UK, Morocco, and KSA conversions change during the year, including within the March–April cohort. Please use the website time-zone selector to view the exact time for each class date.
Our Educational Approach
The program teaches creative writing through an Islamic approach rooted in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.
Students explore story ideas, character development, point of view, setting, conflict, plot, scenes, dialogue, and revision while considering their responsibilities as Muslimah writers.
Each student will work toward developing an original short-story project. Because students have different levels of experience and progress at different rates, completion of a finished manuscript cannot be guaranteed.
Participation in the closing Story Showcase is optional.
Stories by Her™ is an educational enrichment program and does not award accredited academic credit.
Students must be between 13 and 17 years old when their enrolled cohort begins.
Enrollment must be completed by a parent, legal guardian, or adult with appropriate written authorization from the student's legal guardian.
Each girl's legal guardian must authorize her participation before enrollment is finalized.
Please submit a separate enrollment request for each household. Girls from another household require their own legal guardian authorization and enrollment arrangements.
The enrolling adult is responsible for payment and for ensuring each student has valid legal guardian authorization; student information is shared only with those appropriately authorized to receive it.
Legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate contact information and notifying Writefully Hers of relevant changes.
All tuition amounts are in U.S. dollars (USD).
The following founding rates apply to the November 2026, January 2027, and March 2027 cohort periods.
Studio — $249
Includes:
- Twelve live group classes
- Story Studio journal and lesson resources
- Writing activities and practice opportunities
- Optional writing challenges and milestone badges
- Development of an original short-story project
- Optional closing Story Showcase
- Participation certificate
Studio Plus — $369
Includes everything in Studio, plus:
- One individual review of the student's story concept and outline
- One written critique of a story draft of up to 2,000 words
Signature — $549
Includes everything in Studio Plus, plus:
- Two private 45-minute writing sessions
- One additional review of a revised story excerpt of up to 2,000 words
- Individual writing guidance during the included sessions
Signature enrollment is limited to two students per cohort.
Sibling Tuition
Additional girls from the same household enrolled together receive these founding rates:
- Studio: $199
- Studio Plus: $299
- Signature: $449
One student is charged the regular founding rate, and additional eligible siblings receive their applicable sibling rates.
When siblings choose different packages, the lowest eligible family total is calculated regardless of the order in which students are entered.
Sibling discounts may apply to girls enrolled in different cohort periods within the same purchase.
If one student later withdraws, the originally agreed tuition for the remaining enrolled siblings will not increase retroactively.
Optional Academic Assessment — $79
Families may add Academic Assessment to any package.
For this $79 add-on, I will evaluate the writing assignments each student submits throughout the six-week program, with rubric-based feedback, written comments, and suggested grades.
This assessment is intended to support family educational records and is separate from the developmental story critiques included in Studio Plus and Signature.
Assignments, grading criteria, and submission deadlines will be provided before the cohort begins.
Students must submit their work by the stated deadlines unless an alternative arrangement has been approved.
Academic Assessment does not provide accredited academic credit.
Families may choose to pay tuition in full or in two payments.
Pay in Full
The complete tuition amount is paid at enrollment.
Two-Payment Plan
- First payment: 50% of the agreed tuition at enrollment.
- Second payment: Remaining 50% during Week Three of the student's program.
The exact payment amounts and dates will be displayed before checkout.
For families enrolling multiple students in different cohorts, payment schedules will be calculated according to each student's own cohort dates.
A payment plan divides the agreed tuition into installments. It is not a weekly subscription or a pay-per-class arrangement.
Selecting a payment plan constitutes an agreement to pay the full tuition, subject to the cancellation and refund provisions in Section 6 and applicable law.
Missed Payments
If a scheduled payment is unsuccessful, the purchaser will receive a reminder and a seven-calendar-day grace period to resolve the outstanding amount.
If payment remains unresolved, Writefully Hers may contact the family to discuss arrangements before restricting access to future program services, where permitted.
Any approved refund or cancellation adjustment will also be reflected in the outstanding payment balance.
Each cohort requires at least four paid students to proceed.
Groups are designed for approximately four to eight students, with a maximum of ten students per cohort.
Families will receive confirmation of their cohort no later than ten calendar days before its first scheduled class.
Enrollments received after that date may still be accepted if the cohort is confirmed and places remain available.
If Writefully Hers Cancels a Cohort
Affected families may choose:
- A full refund of the affected student's tuition and paid optional additions; or
- A transfer to another confirmed cohort, subject to availability and legal guardian approval.
If a Class Must Be Changed
If the instructor cannot hold a scheduled class, a suitable replacement will be offered where possible.
Substantial changes to confirmed class days or times will be discussed with affected legal guardians.
If suitable replacement instruction cannot be provided, an appropriate refund for undelivered instruction or another agreed remedy will be offered.
Paid individual critiques, Academic Assessments, and private sessions that cannot be delivered will be considered separately.
Stories by Her™ has limited places, and each enrollment reserves a place for an individual student.
The following cancellation policy helps us plan responsibly while allowing families reasonable flexibility.
Within 48 Hours of Payment
Families may request a full refund within 48 hours of their initial payment, provided the student's first scheduled class has not yet begun.
After 48 Hours, but at Least Seven Days Before the First Class
Families may cancel their enrollment and receive a refund calculated as follows:
- Pay in Full: 50% of the affected student's agreed tuition and included optional additions will be refunded.
- Two-Payment Plan: The initial 50% payment will be retained, and the second payment will be canceled.
The same calculation applies whether the student is enrolled individually or as part of an eligible sibling purchase, using her confirmed individual tuition amount.
Fewer Than Seven Days Before the First Class, or After the Program Begins
Outside the initial 48-hour cancellation period, voluntary withdrawals and missed classes are generally non-refundable once fewer than seven calendar days remain before the first scheduled class.
Outstanding installments ordinarily remain payable, subject to the exceptions below and applicable law.
Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that serious illness, unexpected family emergencies, and other significant circumstances can arise.
If your daughter must withdraw because of an unforeseen situation beyond your control, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
These situations will be considered individually and in good faith.
Depending on the circumstances, services already delivered, and the remaining program, Writefully Hers may offer an appropriate partial refund, tuition credit, adjustment to remaining installments, or another reasonable arrangement.
Exceptions are not automatically guaranteed.
If Writefully Hers Cancels or Cannot Deliver Services
If Writefully Hers cancels an entire cohort, affected families may choose a full refund or transfer to another confirmed cohort.
If a paid service cannot be delivered as agreed, we will offer an appropriate replacement, refund, or other lawful remedy.
Multiple-Student Enrollments
Each student's cancellation eligibility is determined separately using her own cohort start date and the amount allocated to her in the confirmed purchase summary.
Canceling one student's enrollment does not automatically cancel another student's enrollment.
The original tuition for remaining enrolled siblings will not increase retroactively.
Requesting a Refund
All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted to:
Cancellation eligibility is determined using the date and time the request is received, with U.S. Central time as the program's reference time.
Approved refunds will normally be initiated to the original payment method within ten business days. Payment providers may require additional time to complete processing.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that apply under relevant law.
Live Instruction
Classes are delivered through live audio, screen sharing, discussions, and interactive writing activities.
The instructor teaches with her camera off.
Student cameras are optional.

Stories by Her™ is committed to providing a respectful and age-appropriate online learning environment.
The program will use online teaching and learning services that permit participation by the relevant age group.
The teaching and learning platforms, account requirements, participation instructions, and applicable legal guardian-supervision arrangements will be confirmed before the student's cohort begins. Each selected platform must permit lawful, age-appropriate participation. If the selected platform cannot accommodate a student's participation, we will discuss an appropriate alternative or remedy for services that cannot be delivered, consistent with this agreement and applicable law.
The Student Privacy Notice will be available before student personal information is collected through the enrollment process.
The Student Privacy Notice describes information collected during enrollment, its uses, applicable service providers, and legal guardians' privacy inquiries. Any additional teaching-platform-specific information will be provided before the student's cohort begins.
Where required, appropriate legal guardian notice, consent, or other authorization will be obtained before collecting or using student personal information.
Communication
Parents and legal guardians are the primary contacts for:
- Enrollment and payments
- Student permissions
- Individual educational feedback
- Participation concerns
- Student privacy matters
Private communication between the instructor and students outside approved legal guardian-supervised channels is not permitted.
Student discussion and messaging features may be limited, moderated, or disabled to support appropriate learning boundaries.
Student Information and Work
Student information and submitted work will be used for authorized program purposes, subject to the Student Privacy Notice.
Student names, images, voices, personal information, and original creative work will not be publicly shared or used for promotional purposes without separate, specific legal guardian authorization.
Signature Private Writing Sessions
Signature includes two private 45-minute writing sessions.
These sessions will be arranged with the student's legal guardian and are expected to take place during her six-week cohort.
Legal guardians will receive the meeting details and may attend or observe according to the agreed arrangements.
Families are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice when requesting a session change.
A session missed without advance notice or a reasonable explanation will ordinarily be considered used and will not automatically be rescheduled.
We understand that unexpected illness, emergencies, and other serious circumstances may arise.
Families should contact the instructor as soon as reasonably possible in these situations. Reasonable rescheduling requests will be considered, subject to availability.
Unused Signature sessions expire at the end of the enrolled cohort unless an extension has been specifically agreed in writing because of exceptional circumstances.
If the instructor must cancel a session, a replacement will be offered. If a suitable replacement cannot be provided, an appropriate remedy will be arranged.
Student Work and Story Showcase
Students retain ownership of the original creative work they produce during the program.
Submitting work for instructional feedback does not automatically authorize publication or promotional use.
The closing Story Showcase is optional.
Sharing a student's work with other participants requires appropriate legal guardian permission.
Public publication, promotional use, or sharing identifying student information requires separate, specific legal guardian authorization.
Students do not need to participate in the Story Showcase to receive a participation certificate.
Respectful Participation
Students and adults are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior, appropriate Islamic manners, and consideration for others.
Harassment, inappropriate communication, deliberate disruption, and violations of participant privacy are not permitted.
If a conduct concern arises, Writefully Hers will contact the legal guardian and work toward an appropriate resolution.
Serious safety concerns may require immediate protective action, including temporary suspension.
Any decisions regarding continued participation, removal, or refunds will be handled according to this agreement and applicable law.
